Location already mentioned previously, however the visit was “forced” by Gastropiço’s suggestion. A picturesque space reminiscent of the true concept of a tavern in Coimbra.
The steaks are fantastic, accompanied by a good finio, they are even better. Anyone who thinks that chicken toasties don't also have a place on the podium is wrong, they are 10/10 (the best I've ever eaten).
Better than all this? Eating in the company of Mr. Borges. These houses are not created solely for what is presented on the plate, but for the atmosphere and Borges is a champion at maintaining a good conversation.

The same thing happened to us as Stephen Llorente, the man at the bar was very unpleasant when serving us and kept making unpleasant gestures. It seemed like he didn't want us to be there. The other man who served was nice. The coffee good. We don't know how the food is but it's clear that with that deal, we wouldn't have given it a chance. A shame.
