The restaurant is opposite the restroom of the museum. It offers delicious food at reasonable prices. You can visit the museum again after lunch in this restaurant.

We wanted a light lunch before touring the Gulbenkian Museum. We were more than pleased with the choice of the cafe. Choices were quite extensive, prices very reasonable. Service was a bit slow due to the crowd, but well worth the wait. Had a chance to sit our side by the gardens on a perfect day to top it all off.
Terrible and arrogant service. High prices and inconsistent schedules. Pigeons inside the restaurant. Tables on top of each other. But how does the Foundation allow a joint like this to operate on its premises?

Ideal to combine a visit to this top museum with a tasty and affordable lunch inside or outside with a view of the garden.

Pretentious and arrogant service. They talk to customers in a condescending manner and don't care to explicitly let them know that the terrace will close at 5 pm - they simply lock the door at that time and put a notice inside that you can barely see - which shows little regard for customers.Clearly, the staff see themselves as being superior to the customers they receive, just because the establishment is located in a privileged garden. The only positive aspect is that the terrace is actually nice.

loved it!!most of the time the museum cafeterias are either expensive or the food doesn’t taste good but this one really surprised me. the prices are affordable, and i really liked the vegetable soup and the spinach pastry. also, the outside part of the cafe is in the garden of the museum which is pretty cool!

Big dissapointment. The cappucino was overpriced and tasted like cheapest instant cofee. The cofee was totally sugary even thought we didn't asked for sugar. They even didn't bring us spoons and the servise was unpleasant. I ordered rice pudding. Again overpriced, overdosed with sugar. Only positive point about this cafeteria is the view which is perfect.
The food is beautifully presented and well prepared!

The food is not bad, although it is expensive! It's nothing more than a cantina, full of people where you can barely hear the person in front and full of old people.

Mmm. The staff didn't really seem intent on doing anything, even though the cashier was really friendly. The food was made quite lovelessly. Too bad, but the terrace and view of the park makes up for a lot.

The cafeteria is located in the basement at the bottom of the stairs in front of the shop. The map is simple but complete. The products are of good quality. The service is impeccable and multilingual.Next time, I will try the outdoor terrace which closes earlier than the cafeteria.
