Very nice characteristic place to eat typical Portuguese dishes. The dessert was also very good.

A unique place to listen to fado. The establishment is located in the former chapel of the Holy Cross Monastery. Amazing atmosphere and friendly service.

A great experience to discover or appreciate Coimbra fado: a quality show, good cuisine, a committed and professional team, a beautiful, central location. What happiness! Well done ?

You have to be patient, there are few waiters for service, they do what they can. The right food, good desserts, best of all the artists, generate good vibes and a pleasant atmosphere.
In general terms good and recommended. Be patient with the service though.

Excellent meal, certainly more expensive than the average for the region but justified by the magnificent setting of this chapel.
The price, however, is blown away by the power of the fado that is offered to you.
Kid-friendliness: Not suitable for children.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very inaccessible to PMRs.

I liked the space, the balcony with a magnificent view, the food and the musicians I heard playing and singing fado. I think they could improve a little on the decoration of the bathrooms and in general. Having everything more organized as the prices charged are not just anywhere.

We had a very nice evening with good music and good food. The staff was incredibly nice and the service was great. And all of this with an absolutely fair price/performance ratio. We can only recommend the visit.

The former chapel has become a restaurant where a fado concert takes place every evening. The entrance ticket costs 10 euros, but the price includes a glass of wine (or something non-alcoholic). I was here for the first time in February 2017 and there were three people on stage and in the audience. I'm glad that A Capella survived Covid and expanded its offer. Fado in Coimbra is a must-see, so it's a no-brainer!
