Disappointment! I opted for the barbecue chicken, which was supposed to be the restaurant's signature dish. The chicken was literally "rickety", it didn't look like it came from a barbecue, but from an electric grill. The fries were cold and mushy. They saved the migas as a second side dish. Furthermore, the quantity is small compared to the price of the dish. I don't recommend it at all, there are better options in Coimbra....

I chose the Churrasqueira da Várzea Eiras, as another option to have lunch out as I do daily, what is my surprise that on the 16/08 the dishes were €7.95 to which I added a drink €1.20 and a dessert of 2.00€ getting the menu (without bread or coffee) to 11.15€ which is expensive compared to other restaurants, and the following day 08/17 the same dish became 8.50€ to which I added only water 1, €20 for €9.70 (with dessert it would be €11.70). The employees are extremely friendly and the food is good, but less than what is served in other restaurants. Room should have air conditioning, in summer it becomes very hot.
