The side street restaurants can be tricky to find. This gem is unassuming outside but real family style rustic Portuguese. Full of locals and business people. Great service, tasty and we would eat here again if time allowed.
Simple space, polite service, somewhat fast and confusing service, homemade food that delivers without dazzling and an affordable price. My soup plate was slightly broken and the glasses weren't completely clean, which doesn't look good. The soup was too simple and watery and the fruit salad made with sparkling juice was not very pleasant. I was not a fan of this restaurant!
If you're a foodie and crave proper homemade food, this is the place for you. The restaurant is consistently busy, and booking in advance is essential, although they might squeeze you in if you're lucky. We've dined there for lunch and dinner a couple of times, and from starters to desserts, everything was excellent.
