Many different vegan options, all very creamy and with great taste: instead of the typical vegan simple fruit sorbets, they have great flavours with interesting combinations (avocado & lime, gianduja, clementine & almond, hibiscus & date, roasted coconut... are just some I can remember) They also have a vegan/gluten free cone.
The staff is very kind and you can always ask them to try a small sample of some flavours before choosing your Ice cream.

Been here two times and it is the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had.
Soooo many and not only sorbet-like flavors. Some of them very unique. LOVED the toasted coconut, have not been able to find it anywhere else. Staff was also friendly and let you try lots of different flavours before deciding.
The only ”bad” thing was that having a vegan cone cost more, 0,5€ I think.

The best vegan gelato we have had anywhere! Around 11 flavours including two which were not on the menu board. Great services and also gluten free vegan cones made this the best experience. Thank you Doppo!
After visiting Doppo for a galão and cheesecake ice cream, I was astounded by both items and can highly recommend this establishment. The cheesecake had large graham cracker chunks and real blueberries, not to mention the intensely creamy flavor. As I initially bit into it, I realized it would be my favorite ice cream here in Portugal. The decedent cheesecake flavor, along with the crunch of the fresh cones, paired perfectly together like a glass of Port wine and aged cheese. Moreover, the latte had a rich, deep flavor which contrasted with the watery taste of my home Keurig coffee. The latte art was the icing on the cake as a beautiful flower design took me by surprise on this early summer morning. On my next trip to Coimbra, you can guarantee I will trekk hill after hill for a Doppo cone.
