On the recommendation of our hotel (nh) we went there for lunch. As soon as we sat at our seats we were served cheese, bread, olives and butter. We were a bit confused and thought this was part of it (no - you pay for it!). We also ordered a burger and sheep's cheese in puff pastry. Recommended by the hotel we stayed in and it was a lovely lively place to eat. We enjoyed a selection of dishes with friendly service and would definitely go back next time we’re in Coimbra!

I liked everything, but the cheese, walnut and honey puff pastry and the chilli prawns were the best.
