... wunderbar geführtes recht kleines B&B mitten in der Stadt, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Coimbra ... und alles fußläufig zu erreichen. This is an interesting place. Obviously repurposed from its original use. Two things to note straight away that we were unaware of. There is no lift (we were 3 floors up and there are 4) and no air-conditioning (It was mid-May and so we did not need). If these are important to you, look elsewhere. Also, the cabs cannot drive to the door, so you will roll your bags over the Portuguese cobble stones. These things are important to know if you have mobility issues. Small guesthouse in an lovely old building very centrally located and walking distance to the station. The interior is beautiful, full of pretty original details and sympathetically decorated to create elegant rooms that suit the architecture. We had to carry luggage up 2 and a half flights of stairs but if a lift is essential, you don't book into a small historic building!
