I stopped by because the reviews seemed good, but the atmosphere was like a fancy restaurant, but the service was so bad (I had to wait about 10 minutes just to order. And after 5 minutes of ordering, they said I had to order a different menu because the ingredients were gone) and it was too much for the bill. It took a lot of time! Not recommended. Honestly~~

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The atmosphere is classy while still being friendly. The food was really delicious and the staff very pleasant. The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender and grilled at the same time! Too bad it's so far from home, we would have come back several times otherwise!

Papa is among the very best restaurants in Coimbra. We make sure to dine there on each visit to the city and did so yesterday. Friendly, professional, attentive staff. Warm ambiance and family friendly. Most importantly: consistently excellent food. I had the prato do dia yesterday with soup, small salad, new potatoes, large piece of salmon (only 13 EUR!). My wife got the picana steak. Both dishes cooked to perfection. Could not recommend this restaurant more!
