I frequent this place, I love it and I returned precisely because I was treated well. Until I received extremely poor service and received by a collaborator. Rude, arrogant. Completed complaints book. The staff can be either excellent or terrible. Good luck!

Very nicely located in one of the old town streets. The service was a bit slow and forgetful, but very nice. We ordered the mixed platter with cheese and sausage, which unfortunately we cannot recommend at all. Both the cheese and especially the sausage had an artificial, musty taste, which unfortunately resulted in stomach problems an hour after consumption. Since we were there on a Sunday evening, I suspect that the sausage was not ordered fresh that day and was not stored correctly overnight.

Lovely, cosy place situated in a gorgeous part of Coimbra. Perfect place to sit with a glass of wine! Really loved the staff who were welcoming and knowledgeable.

The pasta was very good.... But too expensive for the quantity.
The salad was good, nothing more.
Sangria! This is downright the classic scam, namely we fill more than half with ice cubes and on leaving the customer pays 1L but only has 1/2 liters of sangria... And by far it's not the best we've had in 10 days in Portugal.

An OK bar but they shut the doors to paying customers when sat outside so they are unable to hear he Fado performances. Despite advertising outside! Seems very unnecessary as the doors are open all day prior to the performance.

Don’t get why they close the door on Fado night. This way everyone outside is just sitting in silence. Food was overpriced and selection not great, service slow and everything including paying and leaving took ages sitting in silence

Beautifully located small bistro in Coimbra with Fado in the evening from 9 p.m. Entrance fee 10€. Worth it! Don't miss!

Incredible!! Tavern with live Fado music, highly recommended. The place is hidden in one of the alleys of Coimbra, it is a very small but cozy restaurant. The food was very good and the service was fast and efficient. The show starts at 9:30 p.m., so they ask you to arrive around 8:30 p.m. if you want to have dinner. They advise you to reserve, since being small, they have few tables and it fills up quickly. We ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and some spaghetti carbonara (highly recommended). Regarding the Fado concert, without words. Everything is wonderful!! The "group" we heard had an incredible live performance, they even interacted with the audience, which made it even more special. Plus, it's pretty affordable. Dinner plus entry to the show cost us €50. Do not hesitate to come here to enjoy authentic Portuguese Fado while enjoying a cheap romantic dinner.
