Restaurante Sé Velha is a charming spot in the heart of Coimbra, near the old Cathedral. This cozy corner offers a warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food at a good price. Enjoy a perfect cup of coffee, like the cappuccino with vegan milk, or try their tasty dishes, such as the octopus rice and walnut cake, all served with a smile. The waiter was very friendly and funny and the waitress was very nice. Excellent fried cod. The best cake ever eaten in Portugal. The food is very good and at a very good price with the menu compared to other Spanish and Portuguese restaurants. Food very tasty. The vegan franchesina was really nice. The menu of the day was fresh and very tasty. There were also other vegan options available including vegan wine. The owners are particularly friendly, service is fast and attentive. The grilled sardines were delicious and the octopus with rice was really enjoyed.
