Nice place, good service and fair price. I recommend
Kid-friendliness: Many options for children, such as burgers, pizzas, etc.

I came back from the door, and based on the attendant's face and the reviews, it was no longer worth trying.
Had breakfast here and had the egg + a latte and a juice. Was delicious and freshly prepared.

Terrible service.
I went for lunch, the information was that they didn't have a lot of things, they didn't have toast, they didn't have tuna, they didn't have potatoes.....
We ordered a pasta that took about 1 hour to make!!! Very slow and disorganized service for a space like this, located in a hotel!

Terrible service, the food took a long time to come out. The restaurant was practically empty with only one employee who had to look for her to make any type of order.

Very welcoming and comfortable space, located inside the Tivoli Hotel. The service is friendly and helpful. Quiet place, ideal for a good conversation over a drink/meal.

Perfect place for a nice, full brunch. We visited Simone Coffe Shop twice in a row for a late breakfast and both meals were diverse and fresh, including freshly squized juice and coffee in price. First brunch was so big, that the second day we ordered just one for two people. Friendly, english speaking service and good atmosphere. Highly reasonable price for quality and quantity of products was a cherry on top. We'll definitelly be back during our next time in Coimbra.

Perhaps Bistrò Simone has its strong point in brunches, but it certainly does not excel in serving food for dinner. Let's start from the premise that it is not a restaurant but a bar-bistro, so it is useless to expect gourmet menus, nor even medium-level catering. Thanks to the fact that it was the evening of January 1, 2024 and everything was closed in Coimbra and staying at the Hotel Tivoli, whose hall practically coincides with the Simone bar room, we had to fall back on this only open establishment. Even though we were almost the only customers, the waiting times were very long: 50 minutes for 2 soups and 2 quiches, plus a salad that never arrived. The soups, already ready, were lukewarm and the quiches, perhaps prepared for lunch or the day before, were cold from the fridge. We had to ask to reheat the food in the bar microwave. The long times seem to have been due to the hard work of the hotel's room service, but at 9.40pm with no customers around, it seems difficult to believe. Medium level atmosphere, dated furnishings. The medium-level service, not very friendly and not very attentive, not only made various excuses for the delay, but also saw fit to open the entrance door wide to collect tables and chairs from the porch, significantly cooling the room environment (it was a January evening). Terrible, avoid.

Good Portuguese style steak with great potatoes. Fillets with tomato rice also very good, naughty. Relaxed atmosphere.

Very different from what it used to be. The menu remains the same, however, the food is no longer of the same quality. We ordered brunch for 5, there were no pancakes and the suggested options were not equivalent (they suggested brownie). There we ended up asking if they could make toast and croissant. The service wasn't the fastest, even taking into account that there were few people.

Amazing place to have breakfast even if you don't stay at the hotel. The prices are very good and the quality of the food is great.
