We stopped to eat on purpose on the way to Lisbon from Galicia. We really wanted to try it based on the reviews, and it was somewhat disappointing. We ordered a menu, which included drinks. We took a large water for 4 and beers that we knew would be on the side. To our surprise, we were charged for all the drinks, since they only included large ones as they told us at the end when we asked, surprised. When a large one is cheaper than 4 small ones... it has been a very ugly detail. It is misleading advertising to say that everything is included, since at no time were we notified of this. What's more, we asked if it could be water for everyone and they said yes. If they told us that they only included the small ones, then we would ask for the small ones. As simple as that. These ugly details made our experience bitter. It's cheap, for 2.50 of the water they have lost 4 clients. We will not repeat

It was a good discovery! Perfect for those looking for lunch. The dish of the day includes: soup, main course, dessert, coffee and lemonade. I just didn't like the attitude of the person who served us, as he refused to pass the soup when I asked, claiming that the kitchen was very busy. I think it was a lack of will. Otherwise, everything is great.

Lovely sidewalk restaurant with a charming indoor space. The staff was very friendly and the food absolutely marvelous. We had the daily lunch menu, with a selection of soup, meat dish and a drink for only 11 euros! We followed this with dessert and a coffee. I highly recommend the traditional Portuguese soup.

Tourist trap. The dishes took more than an hour to arrive, and they arrived with long intervals between each other, making the experience extremely unpleasant for us. The food did not look good, plated without charm, and the taste left something to be desired in all the dishes (cod steak with mayonnaise on top as if it were a kebab, dry cod with little cod, soft alheira chopped into pieces ...).
Very friendly team, but everything is too expensive for the low quality and low quantity. Based on the many positive reviews, I hope it was a bad day, but unfortunately I wouldn't go back or recommend it. Around the corner, Churrasqueira Mondego offers an excellent experience at better quality and prices.

The 11e menu is not very varied but it fills you up and is good. Don't expect to eat for 11e as if it were a Michelin star restaurant, be careful, but if what you want is to eat quickly and not be expensive, this is your place.
