We stopped to eat on purpose on the way to Lisbon from Galicia. We really wanted to try it based on the reviews, and it was somewhat disappointing. We ordered a menu, which included drinks. We took a large water for 4 and beers that we knew would be on the side. To our surprise, we were charged for all the drinks, since they only included large ones as they told us at the end when we asked, surprised. When a large one is cheaper than 4 small ones... it has been a very ugly detail....
It was a good discovery! Perfect for those looking for lunch. The dish of the day includes: soup, main course, dessert, coffee and lemonade. I just didn't like the attitude of the person who served us, as he refused to pass the soup when I asked, claiming that the kitchen was very busy. I think it was a lack of will. Otherwise, everything is great.
Lovely sidewalk restaurant with a charming indoor space. The staff was very friendly and the food absolutely marvelous. We had the daily lunch menu, with a selection of soup, meat dish and a drink for only 11 euros! We followed this with dessert and a coffee. I highly recommend the traditional Portuguese soup.
