I was treated extremely badly by the owner of the restaurant. I work as a courier. Today, during my work shift, I arrived at the restaurant. I went to the manager, a very polite man, and asked for a water. The manager asked me if I wanted it in a glass or bottle. I said "it could be a small bottle", without paying much attention, as it didn't make any difference to me. The manager handed me the bottle of water along with the pizzas I needed to take home for delivery. I left the restaurant, and while I was putting the pizzas in the delivery bag, the manager came to me and said: "you need to pay for the water... the owner (of the restaurant) saw it and didn't like it". Why? Because the manager's intention was to give me the bottle of water as a courtesy, kindness, and so I understood why this had happened on other occasions. It's normal for restaurants to offer water to couriers, and sometimes they even give us little bottles of water. I understood, and that's okay, the owner is right. I entered the restaurant and paid by MBWay. Shortly after making the payment, the restaurant owner INSULTED me, insinuated that I was a "thief" and said "go back to your country", in a flagrantly rude and xenophobic attitude, for nothing. I then returned the pizzas to him and said: "I'm going to follow your advice and return to my homeland. Now you deliver the pizzas." The company I worked for (BringEat!) seems to have sympathized with the restaurant owner and his xenophobic thinking and instead of repudiating, they chose to fire me. Going to the Toscana restaurant, after this fact, knowing what happened, stops being a question of taste and quality, and becomes a question of CHARACTER.

Possivelmente o melhor restaurante italiano de Coimbra. As pizzas e massas são óptimas. Mas os pratos de carne são igualmente fantásticos. Alguns acompanham com batata rosti (batata ralada, que vai à frigideira), que é de chorar por mais. Preço de pratos de carne variam entre os 13 e 18 euros. Pizzas são geralmente mais baratas. Recomendo!
