My family and I had an amazing lunch here during our tour of Sintra and Cascais with our tour guide. We are so thankful he introduced us to this place! The fish was so fresh and the view of Praia Grande was stunning. The staff was so attentive and such a pleasure to talk to. It was definitely the best meal we had during our trip to Portugal. We will definitely be back!
Kid-friendliness: They have a wonderful ice cream/gelato bar that my son absolutely loved. He also enjoyed being able to pick out the fish from the tank that we had for our meal.

I just wanted to drink a coffee on the terrace with 4 friends and they sent me to the counter. The terrace was almost empty. It was really bad will. I don't know if the food is good, but the service, I don't recommend it at all.

Paying €37 for a Dorada for one person seems excessive to me, without even having been given a prior indication of its weight. A trap I will never fall into again.

Long story short: the works experience in Portugal we've ever had.
In more detail: the service was extremely slow. Despite the restaurant not being busy and having plenty of staff, we waited far too long for menus, drinks, and food.
We ordered several dishes: - The shrimps were okay. - The French fries were barely fried and almost raw. - The mixed salad was disappointing, just salad leaves with tomatoes and onions, without any salt, pepper, or dressing. - The Portuguese sausage was the best dish of the evening. - The codfish with fries had decent fish, but the fries were undercooked, as mentioned earlier. - The tenderloin steak was okay, but they forgot the order, so I had to wait while everyone else have already finished their meals.
Additionally, at the beginning of the evening, we asked the waitress to take away the snacks they had placed on the table (olives, cheese, bread, butter), but they still charged us for them. After pointing this out, they removed the charge without even apologizing.
For the bill 25-30 pp this is not what we expected. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Nice place on the ocean, excellent food, friendly and nice staff, adequate prices (you can spend a few euros or reach over 60 euros each if you opt for multiple courses, wine and digestives as if it were raining). We stayed there 3 times and spent on average between 30 and 40 euros each except for the third time where we spent around 65 euros per person but we didn't miss anything. A cordial greeting to all the staff and especially to the waiter from Bangladesh who was very kind and very efficient. :)

Move on if you ever have the misfortune of being in the company of your dog. Maybe cats are allowed? ? This place seems to want to be VIP.. despite a place surrounded by nature and an unpretentious decor with parasols bearing the image of a brand of ice cream known in all the campsites…….. two pretty RED signs indicating that dogs are not admitted (terrace included) and they must wait carefully at the entrance on the sidewalk in full sun! The only positive point = no money unnecessarily spent on people who don't have a sense of hospitality and who clearly don't like the animal world... so certainly the human race!
