The pasta is served… differently. You won’t get the plate with the pasta directly. The waiter will come with a different portable table on which they have the pans in which the pasta was cooked. Then they’ll put the pasta on the plate in front of you. It’s stupid, but for some reason, really enjoyable.

“We had some take away pizza’s. They taste great, not really cheap (that makes it four instead of five stars). Staff was friendly and the place looked okè. A bit dated and not in the best location but good enough to take out a delicious pizza! Parking is a bit more of a challenge.“

“I cannot write enough good things about this restaurant. The employees at Bengal graciously sat us 35 minutes before they closed. We all ordered three of the specials, the Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Curry, and Dal Makhani. Portions were fantastic: came with a substantial portion of rice and naan. It was easily some of the best Indian food all three of us have ever had. (My FIL is from England)
I got the Tandoori chicken and it was so moist and tender. My partner had the Dal and it was so flavorful and the texture was just perfect. The naan was fluffy and soft with a perfect char on the outside.
We couldn’t get enough of our meals. We ordered another curry to go for my partner’s brother.
We will absolutely be returning when we come back to Sintra. I’ll be thinking about this meal for years to come.

“Quite a Diamond place. Lovely 'family' atmosphere and the staff made us feel welcome immediately. I hade the Mushroom Milanese as a starter and it was lovely!!! I then had the Prawn Risotto....blew me away. The place doesn't look very posh on the outside but I can absolutely state that you will not be disappointed....and for two of us to have 2 course and a few beers for about 60 euros...the price was great too!!!
