The restaurant is clearly for the local expat$$$ boho-chic and retired crowd. Versus the pictures I see in older reviews, the selection of vegan dishes was shrinking a bit. Nevertheless, the mushroom risotto was delicious and generous. The wine menu is top and I got an excellent vinho verde with my food. Convert and taps are to be paid but prices are clearly listed in the menu.
So nice to find clearly labeled vegan food on the menu in an area where seafood is their specialty. We had spaghetti with vegetables and mushrooms with stick fries. All very good. Owner and staff super friendly.
All options are vegetarian, but can be made vegan. I had the mushroom Brás style. I was expecting the egg to be substituted by chickpea flour and soy cream (like I make at home), but it was just the sautéed mushrooms and the stick chips. I was pleasantly surprised as it was quite good! Nice relaxed atmosphere a d very friendly staff. Updated from previous review on 2024-06-09
