Best part of meal was the sheep cheese and wine. I had a medium t bone steak which was well done to hard to tolerate. If you like medium ger medium rare. This really disappointed us. The sea bass was mediocre, what shoul I have experienced at a steakhouse, but being on the beach of Portugal... so Summary, cheese was fantastic and wine was awesome.

Disaster, too expensive for very, very poor quality!!! Several days old risotto with tasteless hard mushrooms. The meat advertised on the menu is not that served at the table!!!
pay okay, when there is quality that follows!!!
This is the kind of restaurant to avoid!!! Waiter ok but I go to the restaurant to eat well.

A place that represents everything a restaurant cannot be. We sat down and were quickly forgotten by the staff. When they finally remembered our presence, they surprised us with the absence of a set of dishes from the menu.
For starters, we ended up being bewitched by the chef's choices… What is our surprise when a sausage arrives at the table (called “chichorra txogitxu”), the kind from the supermarket that isn't even served in francesinhas; the chévre cheese was reasonable but nothing special.

After, once again, a long wait, the long-awaited “T-Bone” arrives. This piece of meat was, however, murdered by the person who grilled it. We specifically asked for “medium rare” and already chilled meat arrived at the table, well done and tasting like Cuban charcoal. The sausage that accompanied the meat had no flavor and the tomato pudding was certainly not the best choice for the meat. An absolute disaster. For the rest of the guests, there was a Caesar salad, worthy of airplane food, and a chickpea curry that was probably the least bad of everything we chose.

About the drinks: we ordered fine Heineken (which for those who insist on pretending they don't know are imperial) for the 6 of us. Peace to your soul! They were dead. The 6! We practically didn't touch them and when the waiter lifted the glasses he didn't even bother to find out why the fine ones were undrinkable. For the main course we chose Herdade da Comporta wine (red). The wine was by far the best of the night's gastronomic epic. However, the highly inflated price turns the relatively common wine into a prohibitive drink.

Well, after the main course we were once again forgotten in the room. Given the suggestion of desserts we quickly asked for the bill which, of course, was once again late. Bills made 46 euros per person. The real “tourist trap”. Our recommendation is: do not visit.

Comporta is fashionable and wants its exclusive status, but this type of establishment, which only wants to screw its teeth and make easy money, is the worst the region has to offer. Exclusivity is lost with pseudo-fancy restaurants that have nothing gastronomically interesting to offer. Here's a tip.

(Note: the staff kindly apologized for the successive forgetfulness due to excessive work and low manpower. We would understand and be sympathetic if the quality of the food justified it. This was not the case.)

The food is good, yes, but the service was very bad to the point that they forgot the starters and brought the main dish directly. No faker from people who arrived after us and were served before.

Good food and friendly service! We didn't taste the meats, however. We had a burger which was very good with spectacular fries and a delicious chicken curry.

The specialty is meat. We tried the dry-aged meats. Decent but not exceptional and the price too high precisely because they are normal. Very inattentive service. Prices too high if you take into account food and service

Great address, absolutely delicious (prawn curry), fast and attentive service despite the fact that we don't speak a word of Portuguese, except: obrigada!!

Vegetarian options: Mainly meat and fish but some vegetarian dishes (curry)

Tasty food but above all the friendliness with which they welcomed us stands out. It's not the cheapest place but it's definitely worth a visit.

The service was very nice and the prices are almost cheap again for the rest in Comporta. The food was very tasty and we can definitely recommend it
