The restaurant operates as if it were a nightclub. If you know the doorman, there's a table and you go in straight away, otherwise you'll watch people you know pass by. I had a reservation for 3pm and only had a table at 3:40pm….

Passable food served with 3 Michelin star prices. Great location, good staff.
Lets say that 1/3 of the price would adequate. We were 2 asked for a cuttlefish rice at 55 euro and the real value for the quantity and quality would be 15 euro.

Dinner at the "new" Sal, now on Carvalhal beach.
Well decorated space with an intimate atmosphere.
5-star service, super friendly staff and divine food: from the starters (cockles), to fish soup, black cuttlefish rice, divine homemade dessert (dulce de leche cheesecake). Definitely repeating!

Very expensive for both foreigners and Portuguese, for the quality and service they present, the only thing that is expensive is the view and the space... the high price cannot be justified... there is also a benefit from the fact that there is nothing there. Employees having difficulty opening a simple bottle of wine. Food served on cracked plates. Anyway, it's for foreigners who have money and aren't used to good food.

The restaurant is spectacular: the decoration, the views of the beach, the live music... It really is an experience. But even better if possible, the staff, especially Deliane, who treated us wonderfully. Thank you, we will return!

Beautiful restaurant on the water with incredible service! Get the delicious lobster and shrimp pasta. Very memorable - can't wait to go back!

My experience was horrible in every way.

Firstly, the personal was really impolite and unstable, we didn’t have an only waiter for all our time spent there, they were changing it all the time. Overall, the workers seemed to be speaking about my friends and I behind our back and laughing, which was pretty annoying and not respectful…
Secondly, they are scammers. Apart from the really high price the plates had and the bad presentation they had, they tried to scam us serving us some “tapas” which we didn’t ask for and we would have to pay for them later (this didn’t happen because we asked them but would’ve if we didn’t) and when we received the bill, we were surprised we had to pay a mandatory tip which we weren’t advised about in any moment.

69 € in total for four really basic plates I can order for more than 75% less in another restaurant…

I don’t definitely recommend you to come here, they’re scammers, impolite and rude.

THE WAITERS WERE RUDE DIRECTLY LAUGHED AT US STANDING TO THE SIDE AND DISCUSSING US, FOR A QUITE HIGH PRICE WE GOT A SALAD OF HALF A TOMATO AND SALAD FROM THE BRUSHES, AT THE END THEY BROUGHT A BILL WHERE THEY ADDED 10% OF THE ORDER FOR SERVICE THINGS ABOUT WHICH NOBODY HAS REPORTED BEFORE, ALSO THEY BROUGHT EXTRA FOOD WITHOUT OUR ORDER, WITHOUT SAYING THAT IT WAS A PAYMENT, WE SAID THAT WE WOULDN'T PAY FOR IT AND TOOK IT IMMEDIATELY, IN SHORT SAYING, DON'T GO THERE, THE WAITERS ARE RUDE DO NOT WANT TO DO EVEN THE MINIMUM OF THEIR JOB ALTHOUGH THE GUY IS AT THE RAND WAS NICE
