We met by chance on the way and were pleasantly surprised. Despite not having a reservation, they served us ten times. Pleasant and professional. Everything was very good. If I have to say a but, the fruit in the sangria was too chopped which made it difficult to prevent it from ending up in the glass but nothing serious. We will return when we are in the area without hesitation.
Great food, ordered the steak à la 'Conversa Fidalga', the sauce was awesome. It comes with a slice of bread below the steak, but I'd recommend ordering an extra bread just to wipe all that sauce from the plate. The food overall was excellent and with the perfect amount of food per person, the service was above and beyond (they helped us reach a pharmacy to buy medicine for my youngest daughter who was getting sick) and the atmosphere was very inviting for families...
Everything is very well prepared, seasoned and exactly as requested. I was on my way from Lisbon to Porto and it was worth getting off the highway. I recommend it and it will be a stopover on future trips.
