Terrible service, they only brought the starters after we had ordered, after 10 minutes of sitting, the starter plate was completely greasy, too long waiting for the food, I ordered steak à la house (a tiny steak, when I left here I had to go and eat a suckling pig), 10 minutes waiting for 2 slices of pineapple, I don't recommend it, I haven't been to a restaurant like that in a while!

I was there from 1:18 pm until 2:39 pm waiting for the dish, we asked if it took long and I didn't even know how to answer, we asked for pork and it came with beef, we asked for white wine and it came with red wine. Terrible service and not great food.

Popped into this restaurant after seeing the board outside. A very warm welcome. As Portuguese isn't our first language we were grateful for the translation assistance from the staff. We ordered from the Menu of the day €9. The food was really good. However, when we went to pay the bill, everything that had been brought to the table, was individually priced and the bill totalled over €40. This, to say the least, was a surprise. It maybe that we have completely misunderstood what a menu of the day is in Portugal in comparison with Spain.

Friendliness towards the customer. I ate some mackerel which they were kind enough to serve me fried as they were grilled on the menu and they were great. My companion chose fried cuttlefish, which were also very good. Generous doses. Menus of the day with everything inc. We really liked it.. I recommend it!

I went for the menu of the day, I stayed for the friendliness. So it's like this: for €9 we have good bread on the table, olives seasoned with garlic in the right amount, a soup (today's was green beans), two dishes of the day to choose from - I went for the feijoada à transmontana - a dessert (I recommend the orange mousse) and then a coffee to top it off. The portions are very generous and even more generous is the friendliness of the people who served us. I tried the prawn bread and it was incredible. Oh! It is worth noting that they made an açorda without prawns, which was not on the menu, for a friend of mine who is vegetarian. Furthermore, for vegetarians, there is a vegetable omelet and a vegan burger. It may be that Açorda will also be on the menu. Here's a tip :)
