We have had the pleasure of going to one of the best restaurants in Costa da Caparica for years and just like the staff did, I also took a photo of the best sparkling wine Sangria. I just have to thank whoever made it, it was delicious. (2021)
(as of February 2022) This score has changed since the new management took office. We are a family made up of 3 people, we asked for a table at 12pm on the terrace because we were not being served at small tables, we were denied, we spoke to the manager (a boy) who explained that customers could show up at any time but they were only scheduled for after 1:30 pm, and at 12:45 pm we had already made the payment. Conclusion: it is sad that a restaurant located on a beach as popular as São João, is poorly led and so poorly organized by those who are managing table bookings. It only means for those who have a house here (which is our case) to go where be better received than I was today. All I had to do was beg for a decent table, which we didn't have.

We spent three afternoons on the beach next to the bar, where we had lunch and relaxed. The team of friendly young people and their five-star service are not in a hurry. At night, after closing, two of them helped us organize a Bolt driver, who as a rule don't like to go there. And since it was already dark and there was no one around, they waited until the driver arrived. A human gesture of praise. THANK YOU SO MUCH young people, we will definitely be back! Hugs

An example of an arrogant restaurant whose various service problems make the experience, to say the least, exasperating. It starts with the obligation to consult the menu using QRcode. The problem is that in the application used by employees to take the order, the dishes and drinks do not have the same name. It doesn't help that the employees don't know the menu. This situation led to several mistakes, one of which was almost anecdotal, with the waiter assuming that two desserts had been ordered when he had only asked for a “cream dessert with a scoop of ice cream”. A cone was going to be served with a scoop of ice cream and a dessert that had nothing to do with cream. Note also the inelegance of employees who respond to a question that they don't like with an “ok”. Note also the lack of ease in dealing with and verbally understanding what is transmitted to them. There are many employees, but bad ones. As a last reference, the constant interruption of the meal to serve water, to ask if everything is ok, to ask if we want help choosing the next dish, all of this is done by interrupting the conversation. It's expensive and doesn't make up for it with anything that distinguishes it, not the food (the avocado and shrimp salad is excessively sweet without a counterpoint), nor the environment (with flies), nor the employees, who should be given adequate training and be selected for appropriate education and communication skills. For teenage children, I already put up with mine.
The restaurant is very spacious, well decorated and airy. The service was perfect. The food came quickly and was very well presented. The wonderful flavor. Super recommended!
