Bad experience. I went with the family to the upstairs room (supposedly the best in the building).
We ordered rojões for the adults (4 adults) and 1/2 of fillets for our son..
The rojões didn't have "meat" but were 100% fat... terrible presentation. Regarding the fillets... We ordered them with fried cockroaches, and they were almost raw.
In relation to service, room without air conditioning on a very hot day... Room almost empty and a long time spent waiting for 1 employee who had an empty room but still didn't get the job done. It took a long time to fulfill the orders, and in the end I was engrossed in conversation with a customer who was tasting wines.
We will not frequent this restaurant again and the best way to demonstrate this is to share the terrible experience.
Regarding the bill: our fault for not checking, however, 4 coffees were billed and we only ordered 2, in addition, a dessert was billed which we actually ordered but the employee, as was in the conversation, forgot and didn't bring it... But also forgot to remove it from the account... But as I say: our fault in this sense.
Parking: There is no parking... only for the first customers... if you are an older person you have to walk on the road which is dangerous. Not an accessible restaurant for people with limited mobility

Restaurant with excellent views over the Douro River.We called to book a table, whoever answered was very friendly and informed us that the table had a view....when we arrived and they indicated the table, we had a view of the balcony!!!We ordered roast veal, no surprises.Attentive and friendly staff.

I'm not much of a commenter on these things but there's always a first time. Going out to dinner and eating heated food must be one of the worst experiences ? We ordered roast veal. It was clear that it was heated. It must have been from lunch for sure. Super dry meat (looked like sirloin), floury potatoes. Only the rice was used and even then I also suspect it was heated. The employee who served us was attentive. When I asked if the lunch food was heated, he replied that he didn't know. And he even tried to offer us dessert but all we wanted was coffee to forget about eating

A restaurant that has an incredible view of the Douro River. In good weather there is a terrace where we can eat and admire the river. Good service, from the starters to the main course, everything was very good. We really enjoyed it, it was an excellent lunch. I recommend.
