We already knew chef Magalhães from other visits, even in the previous space, and we were looking forward to this visit.The space is very refined, with a very sophisticated decor, but at the same time welcoming.For me it ended up becoming a bit gloomy as it didn't have any natural light, unlike the previous space which had huge windows overlooking the valley.The food did not disappoint, the piece of veal with chestnuts and the steak with 3 peppers were superb, on point.Dessert, unfortunately, was a total disappointment. Completely tasteless.My husband's cream milk, a reinvention of the traditional one, wasn't exceptional, in my opinion, but still much better than my mango puff pastry.Failures happen, however I think they need to rethink this option, it overshadows the shine of the rest of the meal.

Very well decorated restaurant, wonderful atmosphere with tables strategically placed to accommodate 2 people. Ambient music and the sound of water running right under our feet. Very pleasant.Excellent service from D Ana and Chef Magalhães.Excellent dishes, well prepared and of excellent quality. We highlight the alheira puff pastry as a cover charge and the venison carpaccio as a starter. As main dishes we highlight the hunk of veal with chestnuts and the venison medallions, both accompanied by mushroom rice and vegetables. For dessert we loved the crunchy creme milk.Excellent wine list, we loved a red wine from the Corga cellar.We strongly advise and recommend that you book.

We were here a few years ago and were very well received. However, recently we arrived with 2 children to a practically empty restaurant and were told they didn't have a table. We left dissatisfied and with the feeling that we had been expelled. And we went... because as soon as we left we called to reserve a table and they accepted our reservation! It's a shame that they consider that a couple with 2 children are not welcome! We won't be back, that's for sure!

It is with sadness that I leave my comment here.I saw advertising on the cliffs of health for this restaurant so I decided to come and see the chef's signature cuisine...when I arrived I was disappointed!!!!Only with reservation!!! I did so many km, curves and more curves until I got there!!!!MISLEADING ADVERTISING???For those who are tourists…I can only regret
