Wonderful lunch. We were above the Douro River on a wonderful, sunny day. Service was excellent and the server friendly. Our meal was relaxed as we enjoyed the scenery and the good weather. My Sangria was a serving of fruit in a glass and tasty and delicious. My husband enjoyed a Portuguese beer. To start our meal we were served a crusty bread, canary melon and prosciutto. Absolutely delightful. I opted for the Francesinha sandwich. It was way more sandwich than expected. Real meat eaters would thrive on it. While tasty, I found it a bit much meat. My husband’s steak and fries were delicious and served with rice as well. The serving was so plentiful he could not eat the rice. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and were so full we had to refuse dessert.

Both were delicious, portions are big and staff is very friendly and polite.
