Super welcoming restaurant, sensational service from Gabriel! The Chef is extremely kind and attentive… the idea was to go to A Laranjinhas, but it was closed, so we walked there, and found the Santa Maria restaurant! It was surprising… delicious food! We love it.
At first glance you would pass it by. Big mistake. Here you will find a restaurant that offers very honest food. The restaurateur and his wife only speak Portuguese, but that doesn't matter. The menu is handwritten on two A4 pages, Google Lens can hardly decipher it. But with the old hand and foot language, a bit of worldly sophistication and good will, you get a meal that is second to none. Not to mention the price-performance ratio. Very courteous, helpful host, generous meals at fair prices. We felt good.
