Rarely, if ever, did I eat as well as I did here. We ordered some scrambled eggs and a rissotto with a meat that I don't remember the name of, the photo doesn't do it enough justice. And the attention was impeccable, all the waiters were very attentive. We'll be back (as long as we're around haha).

Everything about Taberna a Laranjinha was 13 out of 10. The food, the staff, the place, the atmosphere. They offer delicious local food, drinks, staff was very sweet and helpful with making decisions (because we wanted to eat everything). One of the best meals I had in Portugal and in the world. Can highly recommend and cant wait to be back ???
Only the air conditioning does not have enough power on very hot days. Everything else is wonderful! Congratulations!!!

We went for lunch at the famous restaurant on 07/04/24 and arrived at the place at opening time, at 12:30 pm, and there was already a group of 4 people waiting to be served. However, time passed, other people arrived, but the house did not open its doors. Until a man who worked on a construction site near the establishment, seeing the commotion that was beginning to form, informed him that the restaurant was closed for holidays. Anyway, the group dispersed and everyone was wondering why the restaurant didn't put a sign on the door, as is the custom and the correct way to show respect to customers and potential customers. I ended up disappointed for not having seen the house and, even more so, for realizing that there wasn't enough attention from those responsible for basic communication. I will visit beautiful Covilhã again, but as for the restaurant... I don't think so.
