“Lovely little family run cafe with home baked cakes. We asked which was the favourite and the hostess suggested this caramel cake with meringue topping. Not one I would have chosen from what it looked like but so glad we took her advice. We shared a slice and it was yummy! Sweet, sticky, flavourful and very more-ish. We were told that her mother had invented the recipe. Coffee was good too.“
