Informal, popular and familiar. My kind of place! Simple but good food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. I had grilled cod fish that came with boiled potatoes, green peppers and olives. The bacalhao was good, also the French fries that we ordered separerà were good. They even give you few appetisers to start with, not for free, but they were good and rich. Wine was good and for a reasonable price. It is a place where I could go more often to try simple grilled dishes at a good price in a nice and relaxing atmosphere. I liked it!

We had our lunch there. Mixed grill dish was very generous (comes with chips, rice and salad) and we were absolutely full after. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. We also had beer with gooseberry syrup and we loved it. We would definitely come back.

The waiter was just simply rude. He didn't ask what temperature I would like my stake to be so he brought it to me bleeding. 0 seasoning and upon mentioning to him that the fat was still raw and the steak was still bleeding, he didn't even say a word, just took it away. On the mixed grill, the ribs were stuck to the bones, not even fit for a dog's dinner. 0 seasoning again. Just simply horrible. Don't try this place..... Furthermore the prices on the terrace differ from the prices on the menu.....

Obviously being in Portugal, we had to have some "frango" We googled chicken restaurants and this was top of the list, and I can understand why. What a find! Sat outside watching the meat being freshly cooked just makes you mouth water. Our chicken was cooked to perfection, served with hot tasty chips (and of course we had to have the mandatory salad) I did have a crafty look at some of the other food being served too, and it all looked great, and there were a lot of empty plates going back to the kitchen, which always says something about the quality of the food. I can honestly say this was the best meal we had in our 8 day tour of Portugal.
