I had dinner and stayed the night at the Quintinha tavern and had 2 completely different experiences.
The rooms are not prepared to receive guests during the summer. At least the blue room (where I "slept"). It is located in a kind of attic and does not have AC. It has a ceiling fan, which besides making noise, does little more than wind... Hot. It was impossible to fall asleep before 3am.
Breakfast... That's right. Small. We asked for more (and better)
Dinner... One of the best gastronomic experiences I remember. Congratulations to the chef. I would give it 5/5 just for dinner. Everything was (much) above average. Here the experience was the opposite, quality-price ratio... Superb.

Rooms: It is not capable of receiving guests on hot days as it would have to have AC, as it is an attic.
The towels are too old. The bed linen was also old and of poor quality. Considering the price per night, perfectly inappropriate.

It's like the sign at the entrance lets us know as it invites us to enter, "If you come for good, be welcome" and we were welcome, well welcomed, well served. With this Family's own Coziness in every detail without fail, whether in the people themselves, in the food, or in the comfort of the entire space. We felt at home and came with the desire to return.
A sincere heartfelt thank you, from two dreamy artists, to Quintinha D'Arga.
One see you soon,
Monica and Roberto

Excellent quality food.
I found it expensive. Tourists probably won't even find it.
But for most Portuguese people it is “pulled”.

We booked through odisséias, it was empty, they allocated a very small room, poor breakfast, dry bread, little friendliness from the people who served.

Rooms: Our very small, blue room

Very expensive restaurant. There is no menu with prices. The very unfriendly owner was annoyed when he asked for a list of wines with prices. I don't recommend it.

The environment and space are very pleasant. For those who like to be in the middle of nature, in a peaceful environment. I sincerely recommend it to families, couples, friends, any group. I also recommend the accommodation's restaurant, the starters were enough to eat and cry for more.

A pleasant, cozy and familiar space, the starters and the stew were good, although I think it has been served better, but when they charge me €90 for the sausage board, I think it's exaggerated, but €5.60 for two mini butters is abuse!
