We popped in the door for wine and bingo. We found a charming place, where we were treated very kindly, and we tried a Verdejo from the Estremoz area that tasted great. The site is an old horse stable, converted into a tavern, with remains of an ancient wall and original arched columns. We haven't ordered food, so we'll have to come back to see it.

Very pleasant and typical Alentejo atmosphere, excellent food and friendliness of Mr. Manuel with whom we chatted a little at the end of the meal. (a Mozambican in Elvas) We will always come back for an Alentejo soup and wake up with grilled pork which was delicious.

Dinner time, very friendly and typical environment with a lot of locals that gives a great atmosphere to the place. The service is very kind and helpful always with an eye to the details. All the orders were made in the hour that took a little more, but it was worth the wait, tasteful and very well cooled dishes and in very very generous quantity. The deserts, just lose yourself in the tender sweetness of Alentejo. Undoubtedly worth the visit and to repeat for sure.
