I liked the food and would return to this establishment. I think it's worth the value for money. I ordered the steak with house sauce, although it was noticeable that the sauce was defrosted and heated, the flavor was still wonderful.
The only bad point about the restaurant: they only receive cash.

Space very well located in the heart of the city next to Praça da República and the underground parkof automobiles.With a good and pleasant atmosphere. Very attentive and friendly service from the owner.I don't have any information to give about the kitchen because my visit was just to have a coffee (very good) and because the custard tarts looked so good I decided to eat one that I consider excellent. I recommend the visit. I give it four stars due to the fact that I didn't have a meal, saving (certainly) the fifth star for that time. ???

It bothers me to give these ratings, because the waiters don't deserve it.The treatment received has been 100. Very nice, attentive, kind, seriously, spectacular.But they have failed in the food...We ordered cod with cream, which was very average.We also ordered lizard, the meat was dry, and quite soggy, like from a couple of days ago. Very badly.And the francesinha has been the worst we have tried.I hope they improve the food, because I would honestly love to go again and receive that good treatment, with better quality food.

Arrived in Elvas late 8.00pm cold and hungry in early January. This was the only proper (not fast food) restaurant we could find still serving. And what a find fantastic service and wonderful local food just sublime as good as anywhere I have eaten in my life and at very reasonable prices. Cannot recommended highly enough. Come eat and enjoy!

Very good food-menu in terms of variety and preparation, reasonable price. Near the main square. Clean and pleasantly decorated. Slow service and very cold in the premises. I recommend the tomato soup and the cod.
Parking: It is not possible to park on the street of the restaurant.
