Bad information. The starter menu was removed as soon as we asked about snails that were on the menu. The information they gave us was that they had no snails and the kitchen was already closed.
Excellent regional food with dishes of the day of excellent flavor.Affordable prices.

The waitress's attention was good and fast. The rest has a lot to improve.I arrived in the morning after it had been raining and the tables were wet. It seemed strange to me that, with huge umbrellas on the terrace, no one would think of putting the tables under it. Even the waitress who was cleaning the tables, left them half out of the umbrella again, so they kept getting wet with the drops that fell from the umbrellas ?I ordered just a coffee (no great cake option) and it was given to me so hot it even had a layer of cream on top. The tables were wobbly, even with a flat floor, so I dropped part of it. There were also no napkin rings on the tables so I had to go inside to get paper. They didn't have any vegetable or gluten-free drinks and I couldn't pay by card either (not even with MBWAY, which is Portugal's Bizum). The best bathrooms: clean, spacious and with soap, wastebasket and hand soap. After all of the above, believe me I was surprised.I stayed because the day I went (Sunday) there was no other bar open in the square.

"O Grémio Bar" located in Praça da República in Elvas, a place where the price-quality is excellent with the right to watch the various shows that were held there very often and with an underground municipal parking lot. Owner (Toi) very friendly and attentive with employees who do everything to satisfy customers. The excellent cook. In addition to a very good plate of ham, we had a veal steak with mushrooms and roast cod which were very, very good. I will be back and recommend.

For two days we had lunch at this beautiful homemade food restaurant. Wonderful homemade fries. Extremely friendly service. Child-friendly restaurant.Generous doses. Friendly prices.
Kid-friendliness: Without a doubt recommended for children. We appreciate the kindness shown to our children.

I can't speak about the food since we were not served, there were people waiting to have dinner (it was the only place open in the area), we tried to ask if they had takeaway but they simply ignored us, the fifth or sixth time I asked, they told us in bad ways that THERE WAS NO FOOD. Luckily we left there and found another place where they treated us delighted and very kindly

(Translated by Google) On Saint Bonifácio's Day and on a tour of the Alto Alentejo, I was at O Grémio Restaurant, - "Oh Elvas Oh Elvas, Badajoz in sight..." A few notes: friendly service; Relative speed in prepared dishes and dishes of the day. The option fell on a take-out chicken that was on point. I drank beer and ended the repast with coffee. I had to stay light on interiors, as a jump to Ouguela was waiting for me. * I usually don't comment on values/meals and I won't do it either.(Original)Em dia do santo Bonifácio e de périplo pelo alto alentejo, estive no Restaurante O Grémio, - "Oh Elvas Oh Elvas, Badajoz à vista..." Algumas notas: simpatia no atendimento; relativa rapidez nos pratos confecionados e do dia. A opção recaíu numa galinha de tomada que estava no ponto. Bebi cerveja e findei o repasto com café. Havia que ficar leve de interiores, pois esperava-me um salto até Ouguela. * por norma não comento valores/refeição e também não o irei fazer.

We spent more than 20 minutes waiting on the terrace for our orders to be taken (the place was not full, so there was not an excessive saturation of work). They told us that they were coming, but at no time did they. Shame about wasted time, but glad I got the hell out of there, as I read in the reviews, there's nothing good about this place. Luck.
