We came to spend the day in Elvas and although the rain has spoiled the holiday a little bit. We have visited this totally recommended family and traditional restaurant, all very good. Totally recommended. We will definitely return.

Very expensive for what it offers: wine by the 0.5l jug for €6; pork loin with frozen fries for €13 per serving (enough for one and a half people). Without salad, some poor starters (bread and olives and a saucer of ham), without dessert and drinking water and red wine was 20 euros per person. The service was so spectacular that with a restaurant with 3 tables occupied we had to go get bread and olives because otherwise we would still be there. The space is nice and the owners were friendly but the incompetence is huge and the price is mind-boggling ???

First time in Portugal. We ended up eating there by chance. We went around 5:30 p.m. and they received us without problems. Impeccable attention.They made the food for us as we went. The owners, a very friendly couple, took great care of us at all times.Regarding the food... GREAT!! Everything is very very very rich and very very very tasty.In fact, while we were waiting for the food, they brought us some olives and some cheese from the area and... Brutal!! The place is really worth it because of how abundant the dishes are, the homemade food, the flavor, the attention, the price... Everything!! Also, we were completely alone while we ate, so we took it easy.I recommend 100%
