Spectacular place! It is a village bar but with a lot of charm. The waiters were super friendly and smiling, we felt at home.The food of 10!! We ordered a cheek in sauce, one of the best we have ever eaten; and a delicious scrambled eggs with golden cod! Highly recommended, quality price ?

Excellent cuisine, the cod with cream, you have to request it in advance before going, as it is not on the menu, it is EXCELLENT. But without exaggeration, almost three people eat in a single serving. The house cod was sublime, however the secret disappointed me greatly. Prices more than acceptable.

A great discovery and we will surely repeat it. Very good service, spectacular food and prices that I haven't seen in a while.We were two people and we asked ourselves:1/2 of golden cod - the best I have ever eaten, juicy (note: not raw) with cod and double the quantity of what they put in Badajoz (average price €7.50).Whole cheeks (whole price €16.50): pure butter and the exquisite sauce to dip a whole loaf of bread. What can I say about the potatoes, I have rarely eaten ones that are so crunchy and at the same time so juicy, as the portion was too abundant (the photos don't do it justice) they prepared us to take the leftovers (we ate the next day at home with a cream of entrance).2 Chocolate mousse: what can I say, if they did a course or had takeaway I would be a loyal customer (the ones at other Elvas restaurants are good, but nothing like the ones at this restaurant).Drink prices are very popular:Sagres mini €1Prince (third) Sagres €1.40Tempered coffee (called double or long in Badajoz) €1We will definitely return, they also had a menu of the day for €11, not really knowing the dishes we didn't order it, but when we saw the dishes passing by (practically the entire restaurant was staffed by local people), there was first stew, cod crumbs (or something similar) and Alentejo pork fillets (the dishes came out huge but huge, plus the drink and dessert came in).I repeat, in the photos you cannot see the quantity or size of the dishes.We were left wanting to try the picanha or T-bone, but they were very big for two, we are talking about 1.6kg of picanha.
