Average prices. Fresh fish. Rare in Portugal, the TV showed ocean depths and not the eternal “football” that we experience elsewhere: bravo!

Today I went to visit this restaurant, as it has appealing images on social media.It went very wrong!!We ate seafood.From the photos I saw, to the experience I had, it leaves so much to be desired...The seafood was not fresh, the service was very poor!The employee who provided support in the room on the top floor was either sitting or on her cell phone.It was us, the customers, calling for her.Person has disappeared from the room.After a while, we decided to order coffees at the counter. We confronted her, who explained that she had orders to that effect.The most surprising thing was that the owner of Gardel was listening and ignoring...!!Following...ATM unavailable (which is not clarified on social media).We paid €95.00.We are unwell, and regret the decision to visit such a restaurant.

On the 31st of March I went to have lunch at Gardel, in total there were 8 people, I called 4 days before to say how many seafood we wanted so that everything was fresh, it turns out that after lunch some of us started feeling generally unwell, which ended up dragging 6 people (2 did not eat seafood) resulted in poisoning. I had already been to this restaurant twice and everything went well, we decided to go back, now never again...?I'm not one to post reviews, but you can't joke about your health, some of us are still very weak, be careful! Managers also have to know that hygiene and food safety rules have to be followed, and this assessment serves as an eye-opener, they could not remain silent.

Our experience on Valentine's Day was anything but good, the seafood had little variety, the mussels and clams were not good at all, the mussels had no good taste or smell, the crab filling was too dry, we paid around €100 for 2 people, the wine was the only pleasant thing, as for the space, tables next to each other with almost no privacy, no ATM and the next day we were both with a huge stomach ache and couldn't go back. For the price I expected more and much better.

Restaurant with fish only from 50 EUR x kg. A couple pays an average of 70 euros. We tried Pargo, it was well grilled, nothing special. “Expensive” restaurant with few options on the menu, no parking nearby and no ATM.
