Dined here on the strength of other reviews. Did not disappoint.Ordered the mussels to start and the grilled salmon for main. Tho the mussels were done straight up, tasted bland when a little seasoning or flare could of been added to make them tastier. However the salmon was cooked to perfection. Really tasty crispy skin and the meat was done perfectly.Highly recommend.

Lovely restaurant located in the old city along a small road for pedestrians only, which has a nice buzzing and cosy atmosphere. With 4 we had delicious garlic bread and olives as appetizer with a jug of passion fruit sangria, and as main shrimp curry, grilled steak, house style steak and shrimp pasta, all very good in taste and presentation. Dessert cakes also delicious. Great restaurant.

Casa Portuguesa is a nice restaurant in the center of Ericeira. Their Octopus is highly recommended! We tried also francesinha and it was delicious too. Clams were nice but we didn’t like the mustard in the sauce (but this is personal preference, in general the dish was nice). Try to get a table outside to feel the atmosphere of Ericeira

We were seated with a warm welcome and attentive service at a busy lunchtime. Our starter of mushrooms was very tasty. We both ordered Bife ( steak), unfortunately it was inedible. This was extremely poor quality beef and proved too tough to eat. When we raised the issue with our server they admitted to some trouble with their supplier. They arranged for a thinner but equally unappealing and inedible replacement, then proceeded to avoid us for the remainder of our stay; cynically sending other servers to settle the bill to avoid dealing with the obvious question. Poor result all round.

Beautiful little place, super quaint and in a wonderfully scenic area. The service was amazing, staff super friendly and the francesinha was incredible. I’ve always known about this sandwich, but have never been in Portugal to try it and I’m extremely happy that I waited to be here to do it. Lovely food and service, highly recommend!
