We came to 7 Janelas following the reviews that the place has. Also, following the recommendations, we wanted to try the octopus and the cod fish (since Ericeira is on the seaside).
Unfortunately the food didn't meet the expectations: octopus was flavorless and overcooked; cod fish didn't taste fresh - but the onion-mayo sauce was great.
It is not an expensive place and the menu is very diverse. However, I don't recommend it if you want to try fresh and tasty seafood.
The service was good and our waiter was friendly. Even when we are foreigners, they always tried to speak our language to make us feel comfortable.

Never have I had octopus and squid so tender and so much flavour. The octopus was whole and not in pieces. Amazing service and clean. Got there early and quickly filled up. Would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant.
