Quite bland food. I ordered a vegan curry and it was like a ready-to-eat meal. Frozen vegetables and tasteless tofu in a tasteless sauce. Expencive for its quality. Canteen-like atmosphere.

Excellent restaurant, lovely friendly service, we visited 3 times snd jad padta and steaks, all very good plus desserts which were fantastic as well, we shall be returning the next time we’re in Ericeira, highly recommended! 5 *****

Service staff was very kind and friendly. Other restaurants in Ericeira didn’t take any new guests after 21:00 but they would take anyone even after 23:00. Food got served quickly and was super delicious and still fresh.

We spent a week in Ericeira, had our first lunch of our trip here at the recommendation of our host. It did not disappoint! Great location, atmosphere, excellent service and food! We liked it so much we returned a second time for dinner! Highly recommend the steak on the stone.

Locally owned business. Great food, great service, great menu and great wine. 100% recommend. The cocktails after dinner were also amazing.

My fiancé and I visited Ericeira for a surf/vacation trip. We visited this restaurant 3 times in our two week stay- that should tell you how great of an establishment this is. Aside from the appetizers, entrees, and drinks, the two the servers we were lucky enough to have with each visit, Miguel and Pedro, really made the experience. From their welcoming suggestions to their charming demeanors, lunch and dinner were top tier, every time. We recommend trying these dishes: for starters- olives (of course) and octopus salad, entrees- octopus, hot stone block steak, lasagne, carbonara (best I’ve ever had), and have a glass of whatever wine Miguel or Pedro would recommend, you won’t be sorry. Can’t wait to come back next time!

Service was good, food was delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Came with wife and parents on one evening. Spaghetti bolognese was fantastic, rump steak was lovely and the seafood linguine was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Pedra Dura offers a Great variety of different dishes. We had pasta which was good. And we hat a tuna steak (medium grilled) with potatoe gratin and spinach that was great, not to dry, nice taste. The espresso at the end also had a great flavour - not to sour. Friendly staff.

Great restaurant, quick, delicious food served by friendly staff. Good value for money. We ate here 3 times during our 10 day holiday. It was a really good experience for us and we would recommend for both couples and groups and families with small children.

Good restaurant, staff are proud and seem happy and everything we had was delicious. The food is reasonably priced, I don't think you could regret a meal here. The beer on tap is also very tasty. Child friendly, made us feel welcome. Hot sauce was spicy, but tasty!

We tried the Rump steak with fries (which we loved!) and the Grilled salmon (we would prefer baked potatoes instead of the gratin potatoes, but we enjoyed the salmon anyway). However, we didnt like the taste of the water (and it was expensive: 2,25€ a bottle of filtered water)

OUTRAGEOUS. Last August 31 we had dinner as a family at the Pedra Dura restaurant in Ericeira. After paying the bill, the waiter came up and told us that one of the carving knives was missing. My children, my husband and I looked for it above and below the table (the waiter did not even bother) and after a few minutes, they brought us a 15 Euro ticket, stating “we could keep the knife as long as we paid for it ”. Highly upset for being falsely and wantonly accused of THIEVES, we asked to speak with the manager, who, far from reassuring us, raised his voice and treated us with contempt and discourtesy (supposedly for being so angry (!?)), and he punished us not offering any more explanations. We filed a formal complaint for the mistreatment, but the moral damage was already done. We believe that the waiter took the knife after helping us cut one of the two pieces of meat. I suppose that at some point they would count the knives, see that ours was not lacking… and remain silent forever ... The food was okey, but you must know there is a high risk of being blamed for any inconvenience at this local. SURREALISTIC.

Today I had lunch at this restaurant, when ordering, the waiter didn’t speak a word of Portuguese, I tried in English, nothing. He only spoke French.,, another waiter came and as I only had an hour for lunch, I asked how long would it take for our orders to come. He replied, ‘ it takes the normal time!’ Rude, arrogant and the food is just ok. Never again!
