I already know the place and this time we took a friend who had been there for years who also really liked it.

We had been to this place a few years ago, we liked it and that's why we're back again.
When we arrived we saw that it was practically empty, we found it strange but we still went in.
We ordered a seafood dish (75€) which was well served. It's a shame about the shrimp, whose heads tasted like mold, as well as being exactly the same in flavor as those from the mainland.
After politely remarking to the employee, he came back with the excuse that it must be the quality of the shrimp. Fact is, it tasted like mold.
No apology or attempt at repair.
The rest of the seafood, although not exceptional, was eaten. Nothing extraordinary.
Not to be repeated for sure.

Food is very good and tasty, however the service is slow, I'm not talking about the wait for the dishes, because that's normal, it's the service, there were only 3 tables and even then everything was slow.

I decided to go for a motorhome trip this weekend and stopped in Ericeira at the campsite. As I usually eat out, I decided to go to this restaurant for the convenience of proximity. I had been there a few times before and I know that it is not a reference when it comes to the freshness of the seafood, but as it is very close to the park I decided to go there. I parked in the parking lot, which was empty and went out to open the door for the passengers in the cabin, when I saw an individual approaching me at an almost running pace asking me if I was going to have dinner? As it was already 9 pm I replied, because at this time of course, it is for dinner and not lunch, he asked me again if it was for dinner there? I then began to realize that as I arrived by motorhome I was being discriminated against and classified as "Persona non grata". The individual who is of Brazilian origin should have already realized that discrimination is not a good attitude at all and if he was afraid that I would go camping there then he would at least wait two to three minutes to understand how the situation was unfolding, to confirm- If I intended to spend the night there, then I would call the competent authorities. Of course, faced with this attitude, I went to Estrela do Mar in Ribamar, which is a superb restaurant and has a parking lot where I don't see any fool running around to ask me what my intentions are. He lost (he didn't because the owner is the one who loses) this dinner and many others that he could have gone there for. It is not surprising due to this and other less good attitudes that it is empty as it was. I know that this batch of poorly qualified and poorly educated people receiving us is a new reality, but I advise a review of the employees.

Good seafood platter, though! At the end of this meal we had half a lobster left, two full crabs and other seafood that we had not touched (paid for).
We didn't ask for anything extra and wanted to take what we had left to the table! This was refused to us "unacceptable given that it is done everywhere"
Very, very disappointed and we will not return again!

On 29-05-2024 I went to buy some seafood, it was 6:40 pm, the employee who was at the counter said it would only be after 7 pm, and he immediately turned his back and left, and I waited for a while and he didn't even show up, I ask how kind this gentleman was in serving a customer while turning his back, he was an old man, he should have had a different attitude towards customers, and he shouldn't even be behind the counter.
Every year I come to buy at least 2 shellfish and I have never been treated with such an attitude, thank you but this time I give it a score-0-

It needs to improve the manufacturing of products. I ate octopus, it was tough and salty. At Easter, there is no special menu. I was very disappointed with the restaurant and will not be returning!
