“We didn't make it in time for dinner at the restaurant, but at the cafe, Mr. Paulo suggested a bifana and I can say that it was enough to eat and cry for more (we even did it again). Very pleasant space and no shortage of friendliness. I strongly recommend it!“

“Mandatory stop for those who enjoy good food and good food. All employees are extremely friendly. Homely atmosphere, food that reminds us of our home. I recommend it after visiting Castelo Rodrigo (historical village of maternal grandparents) and Serra da Marofa. The monkfish rice is simply spectacular, bathed with a Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo wine, everything perfect.“
“We went to the restaurant, famous for its cataplanas. And it was spectacular. Exquisite flavor and good quality. Very close treatment. We didn't order anything other than wine to accompany it, since there were 2 of us and that dish only serves at least 2 people, although at least 5 can eat the stew. This is the only thing that doesn't seem right, since, after stuffing ourselves with cataplana, we had more than half left over and we didn't try any more dishes. Furthermore, the minimum portion already costs 48 euros. I think they should provide portions for one person that 2 or 3 can eat for sure and that way there isn't as much food left uneaten and you can try more dishes. In any case, we do not regret having gone and tried that delicious dish.“

“A bit more expensive than the rest of the restaurants in the region. But honestly, I'd gladly pay more if you know you will enjoy the food. After some horrible experiences this was a welcome and much needed lunch. It was absolutely fantastic. Good flavours, nice wine, and a cosy place to eat. Recommend!“
