“Absolutely Lovely place.
Typical downtown Porto urban plot. Granite building long and narrow, with a double height ceiling and mezzanine inside.
The back garden is a gem. Spacious enough for a few groups, with vegetation and studied lighting, which creates a great atmosphere at night.
Service was great with a nice and helpful team.
I recommend all the pizzas!
Will come back for sure.

“visited a couple of days ago just looking for something to eat with the family. stumbled across maria tripeira and thought we’d give it a go as we had been searching for somewhere that serves piña coladas and this was the first place we found. not expecting much, the man led us through to the back of the building to a room with the most gorgeous view of the river douro !! we were also the first people in there to begin with which meant peace haha. 3 of us ordered the salmon and 2 ordered the nutella strawberry crepes, and some desserts afterwards. everything was delicious, including the pina coladas too ! our waitress (i didn’t get her name) was also very lovely and helpful. one of the desserts we ordered was the fruit slice which came with mango, strawberry and pineapple, it was amazing and the fruit was so fresh and tasty. would 100% recommend, only thing was that the menu was mainly fish food or steak so if you don’t eat fish or steak you might have to order a crepe instead like me. thank you for your service guys ! x“

Regarding the food, it was really surprising, the fantastic combinations they make.
I suggest asking the staff what to choose because they got it right for me!

Without a doubt, it does justice to their excellent reputation, being considered a must-have to visit in the city by the Portuguese!

“Exceptional service, extremely friendly and attentive team. Wonderful Focaccia Antipasti and very well served, as well as the green Wrap (Vegan Option ?). We are sad that they no longer serve rustic potatoes with oregano, here is a suggestion that was worth keeping. ??✨ However, Daikiri is Daikiri and it's always good to come back!!! “

“Cool looking bar with retro decor. If you're into your indie music then this is the place to go in the Gallerias area of Porto. So good we went back after visiting a couple of other bars in the area. Drinks very reasonable for the area.“

“A great spot to watch the sunset in Porto! We grabbed a seat and ordered the “8€ Hot Wings and 2 Finos” special. For the price we thought we’d get 6 chicken wings. Oh were we wrong! I think we counted 20! They were very tasty w/a little peri peri sauce on them. We also ordered a bowl of fries. Definitely worth it! Great spot - we will definitely be back!“

“Passing through Porto for 5 days in April 2023 with friends: 8 adults and 7 children, we stopped at this address to spend our last evening there. A real happiness ? A great welcome with a manager who speaks French. Outdoor service at sunset in front of the beach. Extra mojitos, drink for children at the top! Incredibly delicious burgers ? Background music. Everything was there to spend a wonderful evening with friends. An address to recommend ++ and if we come to be passing through the bottom again, we would go back there with our eyes closed ????“

“Stunning meal last night, everything was super fresh. Lovely cocktails and wine. The calamari and squid were a highlight as was the butternut squash salad. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. On our list to return when we come back to Porto and will recommend to friends

“Nice hard rock, spacious slightly pricey but that's to be expected. Lots of memorabilia and centrally located. They have local cider on tap which is a big plus. Friendly service. Disappointed they let dogs in, and large ones at that, specially for those with dog allergies, hence the one star down.“

“Das Tokkotai ist ein sehr schickes Restaurant mit sehr aufmerksamem Personal. Das Gebäude ist in einem leicht unterirdischem Gewölbe und sehr stimmig eingerichtet. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut und sogar mein Cocktail war aussergewöhlich gut. Ein schönes Erlebnis, wenn man sich etwas gönnen möchte und den leicht höheren Preis total wert.“

But it just didn’t work out with the last one - the restaurant has large panoramic windows, but they were so dirty that it was not easy to see the view. I had to enjoy the view only after visiting a restaurant in a nearby park, in the fresh air.“
