So you have to be patient or even very patient to finally be able to eat. The food is good and home-style.
Please note that you need to bring liquids.

It is a popular house, with unpretentious cuisine but with a good relationship
Price/quality. Stew, tripe, Aswan bones, cod and rojões and turnip soup are good choices. The snacks in the late afternoon or at dusk are worth trying. Mr. Neves is your greatest asset
which guarantees a long and lively night. Prices appropriate to the quality and quantity of the offer. Good choice of wines
with affordable prices.

It's my local place, whether it's to go for a nice dinner and eat simple food while having a drink, or pop in later just to find someone to talk to for a while, it's my favorite place in Espinho. It's not for vegans, nor for anyone who wants modern music, and I like that. Occasionally the food may be a little too salty, but it is always served with a smile.
It's cool to see the atmosphere change from a food bar during dinner to a bar as the hours go by. Somehow, and without really understanding how, I always leave there 2 or 3 hours later than planned!
Vegetarian options: Maybe simple soup or salad, not a suitable place for vegetarians.

Food, service and atmosphere out of 10. Typical Portuguese tavern in rustic style decorated in an old-fashioned way with tasty food and excellent prices. The girl who served our table, a Brazilian, was very friendly and helpful, explaining to us the dishes we didn't know. Wine, 2 dishes, 1 dessert and 2 coffees, 19, 21 Euros. Experience to repeat!

I never thought that a meal per person would cost €21 in the restaurant I went to.
A simple restaurant, like a "tasco", which was once a tasco years ago. I was disappointed with the quantity of food (small portions), poorly prepared (food with a lot of salt). What I liked most were the starters and the desserts.
For €21, which is not the case, I would eat better if I went to "Meireles", or "Baliza". Anyway!!
I don't recommend it and I will never go there again.
Parking: Paid parking. It is only at night that you do not pay.
Kid-friendliness: I don't consider it.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is not accessible to people in wheelchairs, because at the entrance instead of a ramp, there is a huge step.

Traditional atmosphere and great food. Without many refinements, good price.

Real Portuguese food without buts or half buts. Here you can eat well, drink as much as you can, for reasonable prices, maintaining the (improved) atmosphere that I remember from over 60 years ago. Well act!
