Amazing quality food that was spoilt by the rudest waitress who ignored me then shoved a dessert menu in my face and said ‘HERE.’ Gave dessert a miss after that, disappointing. Manners cost nothing.

More fine dining portions than tapas - especially the croquette. Relatively limited menu choices and leaning more to ‘£££’ than ‘££’ - fairly poor value but relatively tasty. Not a bad destination but there are much better nearby.

Great food was very tasty, the goats cheese dish especially. Portion sizes on the smaller side, looking at more 4-5 dishes pp rather than 2-3 however we have big appetites. Great location, lovely atmosphere, attentive service, maybe could do with being a little uplifting to families with children.

We were staying in a hotel not far away and after a little walk one night we got lost and ended up walking past this restaurant. The menu looked interesting so we booked it for the next night and we were so glad we did. There are some lovely restaurants in this area and we visited them all but O Amigo is by far the best restaurant in the area! The food is absolutely delicious, we savoured each mouth full. Hats off to the chef and full marks for the incredible service, everything was just perfect, so good in fact that we came back a few nights later to do it all again and we were welcomed with open arms! Thank you so much for two wonderful nights, your hard work was very much appreciated, it is a very special restaurant, well done to you all!

Great tapas and reasonably priced. The bread and butter were delicious, as well as all the other tapas we got. Staff are very nice. Highly recommend.

Went here tonight after reading excellent reviews on tripadvisor. Was received with an extremely warm welcome despite not making a reservation. Stylish decor and a great atmosphere . Ordered from the extensive tapas menu and we can honestly say the food is out of this world and it certainly exceeded its reputation. In addition, the waiter service from Rico & Jaime AKA Al Pacino .(when he was younger) enhanced the experience and certainly made this our night to remember in the beautiful city of Porto .Thank you guys

we had the most fabulous tapas here on our recent visit to beautiful Porto. The restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel (the Catalonia Porto), and I'd googled restaurants near us. What an absolute gem! a very worthy 5 * review. Managed to get a table same night and it was fully booked when we arrived, so a great atmosphere too. Our waiter Jamie, what a guy! gave us his recommendations for food and also wine, and he was absolutely spot on with both. Food was superb, service was first class, and an absolute bargain at £88 all in, that was approx 6 dishes and wine. Would highly recommend, and would definitely visit again. Jamie, you made our evening! thank you

Rio's came up in Tripadvisor with great reviews, so we walked to find the place during the day to then booked a table for the evening. We were not disappointed by the reviews as the service and food was excellent. we started with a few dishes and ordered more as the evening went on accompanied by beer and wine.
