I'm spending a few days in Espinho and I discovered this restaurant yesterday, Thursday. I am Galician and I can say that they have fresh and very delicious fish. I had grilled sea bream for dinner with potatoes (cachelos type) and mixed salad. The personnel is very friendly. The waitress who served me was charming. He recommended a digestive herbal infusion. Also, another waiter cleaned my sea bream well. It's a detail. Great location, right in front of the promenade...
We arrived at this restaurant at 9:45 pm and had come from the restaurant next door, which refused to serve our dinner any longer. This wonderful restaurant accepted two more people, with a smile and friendliness. They quickly found a table, served us with a delicious cod starter, a high quality fresh red fruit sangria and also very fresh and very well prepared monkfish rice with shrimp. Very nice little restaurant on the seafront in Espinho.
Impeccable service, a waiter comes to prepare the fish in front of you (to remove the bones) and serve.
We took red mullet for another, the flesh was tender and a treat.
Plus we were lucky enough to come across a waiter who spoke French very well (there’s no denying it, it helps.
Small downside for the pudim (a kind of flank) which was not great and especially with cinnamon.
