Being robbed without a weapon. I've been going to this place for over 20 years, I haven't been here since the pandemic. Because it has changed a lot and for the worse, contrasting with Facebook lives just to deceive the masses of curious foreigners who invaded this country post-pandemic. Going in stages, apart from the chorizo ​​starter which remains the same, the rest of the dishes are very bad, either due to the exorbitant price or the poor quality as is the case of the so-called “squid kebab”, which is nothing more than pinchos with dried mini squids of course as they are too small to put on the grill. Brill or Turbot, which is not a fish from the coast of Esposende, but comes from the nurseries and for which they ask for 40? Euros per kilo? Sea bass at the same price, fish dumped on the beach daily by fishing boats. Finally, forget about this hut, or any other one next to it, as the fashion for stealing spread throughout Apulia. Lastly, the atmosphere and service are very bad as they have doubled the terrace but the kitchen and grill remain the same size, which could be a bad idea.

Super cuisine. Le top pour déguster poissons et fruits de mer. Un succès qui se voit dès l’entrée et le temps d’attente sur la rue où les voitures croisent clients et serveurs (attention!).
Ce succès se voit aussi dans les toilettes qui mériteraient plus d’attention ou un peu d’investissement.
Addition 100€ /2 personnes. On était plus habitué à ces montants, mais c’était très bon.

I've been to Cabana many times because, in my opinion, it's the best restaurant to eat fish and seafood in Apulia.
But yesterday's experience was one of the worst I've ever had in a restaurant.
Service was good during the first part of dinner. When we got to the desserts and coffees, it became terrible. We ordered coffees and the bill. As everything came at the same time, we put the money in the pot before starting to drink the coffee. One of the waiters approached, saw that we had already paid the bill and asked, in a rude and impatient tone of voice, what was needed (for us to leave).
We picked up our things and left, but this huge lack of respect ruined the experience and the dinner.

Best clams I've ever eaten.
Very tasty, large and very well seasoned.
Very good cooked prawns.

We were shocked when we arrived at this seafood restaurant that has almost 5,000 reviews and almost 5 stars on Google Reviews. The place was complete chaos. We wanted a good glass of white wine, dry, with some minerality. The waiter said they only had good wines by the bottle, so we had to buy a bottle if we wanted a good glass of wine. We bought the bottle and the wine was acceptable.

We waited about an hour for a table. The seafood dish, we were told, would cost approximately €170. We decided not to opt for it. Instead, we ordered three tiger prawns and half a portion of octopus. We received the three tiger prawns, which were acceptable. First they were grilled, but they got cold while waiting to come to the table. They were reheated in the kitchen on a gas stove, and when they arrived at the table they were dry. We asked where they came from and they said they were from Mozambique. When we received the bill, they charged us €71 for those three tiger prawns, which is insane. They were charging the tiger prawns by the kilo, but we highly doubt we received the price per kilo indicated on the menu.

I recommend anyone who goes to this restaurant to ask for the seafood to be weighed before it is cooked and to be told the weight. We suspect they are deceiving customers. The octopus we ordered was acceptable, but the vinaigrette had very little flavor. And it wasn't half a portion of octopus, it was two small, thin tentacles for €20, which is ridiculous. An octopus has eight tentacles, not two.

Before receiving the starters, we asked the waiter to remove the things they placed as appetizers from the table, as they charge if they are consumed. There was black pudding, prawns, olives and bread. We ate the prawns and sent the rest back, but when we got the bill, everything was charged. We had to ask to deduct this manually. The whole experience was very unpleasant. This is a place that lives off its old reputation, but some honest reviews need to be made because there are many better restaurants with fairer prices and places where they don't rip off customers.

J'y suis allée en juillet. Très très bonne cuisine portugaise, d'excellents fruits de mer, très frais, on sent qu'ils ont été péchés très récemment et tout près... bcp de choix. Attention, réservez sinon 1 h d'attente. Très belle expérience !!!
