Strongly recommend you check out this wonderful family-run cantina. Popular amongst the locals and with good reason. Had mixed fish and was amazed by it. Beautifully charcoal grilled, a selection of every fish I could have hoped for, the sardines were excellent, owner friendly, and the prices are impossible to beat!

I have no words to describe the good surprise we had. I start with the food: fresh fish in abundance bought early this morning at the Olhão auction by Mr. Vítor, a delicious tomato and lettuce salad, great seasoning and tomatoes that taste like tomatoes, finally the dessert: a carob pie and a dessert almond, suggestions from the host and so well prepared with love and care by D. Mariana, wife of Mr. Vítor. As for the price, €10 per person with the right to almost everything, just for the love of the profession and service to the community. As for the atmosphere, a simple but beautiful establishment in the center of a small village on the way to the interior of the Algarve, where you meet many typical people from the local region for lunch with whom we can exchange a few words of conversation. As for the service, I have no words to describe so much hospitality and kindness from the owners and the two employees who, despite their age, have a genius that is the envy of many young people. Nice couple where the owner, Mr Vítor, kindly says that his wife, D. Mariana, is in charge and that he is a mere employee. Always continue like this. As for me, I hope to be the first of many times to visit them!!!

This is an authentic Portuguese restaurant, if you’re looking for good food you’ve got it. We ordered the Sea Bass and Sea Bream and it was the best fish we have ever had. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but just trust me! Amazing for the money

We had lunch there. We had oven chicken for two with rice and fries on the side and two drinks. For dessert we ordered two chocolate mousses. Everything cost a total of €20, which is very cheap for the Algarve. The food was delicious and tasted like homemade! Plus we waited less than 2 minutes for the food! Everything was served very quickly. The waiter was also very nice. However, we were told (or in the rush we understood it to be) that they actually only had two fish dishes and one chicken dish on offer. Later we saw that they had more on offer (we weren't given a card, apparently everything was clarified verbally). I can recommend the restaurant and would visit it again.

Excellent meal. We ask for the menu and they offer you baked pork with fries, dessert (sweet or fruit), drink and coffee for 10 euros. You can also order baked fish (bream or sea bass) with a side of baked potatoes; It costs 12 euros for everything including drinks, dessert and coffee.The waiter, owner, very friendly.We will go again.I recommend it 100%.
