A lovely restaurant. Off busy routes. My partner and I were looking for something less touristy and we found it here. The food was good value, excellent and the staff were lovely. Would definately recommend.

The four of us had a particularly delicious meal here. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. The food looked very good visually, the portions were plentiful and very tasty. We had meat and fish dishes - everything was great.The service left nothing to be desired and the price pleasantly surprised us.We can only recommend the restaurant and would like to come back if our vacation wasn't already over.

Excellent service and food.NEGATIVE NOTE:I recommend more care with the placement of smoking customers.We were (gifted) with a table next to smokers, who appeared to be regular customers, and who smoked in the middle of the meal.

Dinner during our vacation trip. Got suggested by local people because not so visible.All in all very nice experience, waiter was very friendly and helpful to choose from the menu and throughout the dinner.Food was very good and tasty, especially the rice with prawns and clamps was super.Should promote more (and also accept standard credit cards to be fair)

Came for lunch. Food and service was great. Wife and I were the only non-locals. Waiter even showed us some fresh tiger prawns so we could gauge what 100grams looked like before we ordered! Looks like all the negative reviews were long ago. Definitely recommended!!

I dropped in for lunch with my elderly parents, and it was a delightful meal! Large delicious food portions, I went with the tuna steak, but the prawns looked even better! The waiter really was the star, though - very charming and providing great suggestions.

Sadly not good at all. Food was not good. The olives was old. The waiter became angry and argued with us when we complained about the food. We will not be coming back.The reply to this review tells it all. To write to unsatisfied clients that they are wrong instead of being a bit humble and apologetic.... No, for sure I do NOT recommend this place!

Our first not of a weekend mini break. It has a high TripAdvisor rating and good reviews. Now we know why! Lovely restaurant beautifully decorated with traditional tiled walls. Loads of space to eat inside or out (maybe not in February). Simple menu but choice enough. Whatever you chose will not disappoint! For main course we had the most beautiful, fresh, Sea Bream and Sea Bass. Simply cooked, but to perfection. Accompanied by an excellent bottle of local Algarvian white wine. No room for desert although we nearly submitted. And our service was exceptional too! Highly recommended.
Live locally so disappointed at the overpriced menu of new management. Maybe accounts for the fact that we were the only customers on a Friday night for dinner. Was expecting some more traditional dishes based on previous reviews but grilled meat and fish again so nothing special to account for the price. That said the food & service was nice.
