“Great traditional restaurant with typical Algarve dishes. A 7 course menu where each course is delicious and refined, served in a nice warm traditional setting in a beautiful authentic village. Ridiculously good price/quality ratio. 7 courses including wine, water, coffee/tea and digestive for 38 Euro pp. Absolutely recommended!

We did not make a reservation, but they managed to make a table available for us within 15 minutes (but I recommend you make a reservation as I guess you won't be so lucky). We had poke bowls, franceshina, hot dogs and they graciously accommodated my daughters request for plain spaghetti with butter :) the smell of cigarette smoke was the only reason for the 4 star on atmosphere but we’re just not used to that where we come from.

The eggs were done well enough not to make a mess when eating the bread, and the onions were caramelized very well. “The place is good, but they abuse cilantro in Portugal. It is a particular flavor that we don't like. We ordered rice with monkfish for €45 for 2 people. It was an exaggerated amount, 4 people eat with that casserole, it had a lot of monkfish. It was good, but we think the cilantro flavor spoiled the dish a little for our taste. If you like cilantro, then you will surely love it because the quantity is incredible! It was impossible to finish it! The service very good.
